This is not one of DevilDriver’s most popular songs, but it definitely deserves more recognition. Its lyrics are dark and depressing, but also very poetic. Many people would probably challenge me on this one, but I feel like it ties with Canes as my favorite DevilDriver song.

It also talks about how everything in life has its ups and downs, which are like darkness and clouds respectively. One Direction originally wrote the song for their album Four, but it didn’t make the cut. The band came back and rewrote it for their newest album Made in the A.M.. This is an uplifting and positive song about finding your way when you are stuck in a bad situation.

This is a very chill and relaxing song. It was featured in the movie Garden State, which is one of my all-time favorite movies. Its lyrics are very poetic and Guru is a lyrical genius.
